The Green New Deal is the real existential threat ( to the U.S. economy )

I decided to use 

what was published 

in early February 2019, 

which best describes 

what the Green 

New Deal creators 

wanted, rather than 

any later, modified 

version of the GND.

The Green New Deal 

seems to be 

designed to destroy 

the US economy, 

by requiring fast, drastic 

non-feasible changes,

that would be rejected 

by most Americans, unless 

forced upon them by a strong 

Communist-style government.

The GND would destroy 

massive amounts of wealth 

and technology.

The ridiculous infeasible

timeline is 10 years. 

It won't happen in 50 years !

Here are some 

of the GND goals:

Ban affordable fossil fuel energy. 

Good bye coal, oil, gasoline, 

diesel fuel, jet fuel and natural gas 

Eliminate nuclear energy too. 

Eliminate 99% of 

“combustion-engine vehicles” 

— Trucks, airplanes, boats, 

and 99% of cars, in ten years. 

Charging stations 

for electric vehicles 

will be built “everywhere”.

Gut and rebuild 

every building 

in America. 

"Retrofit every building

 in America” with 

“state of the art 

energy efficiency.” 

So every home, factory, and 

apartment building, will need 

to have their entire heating 

and cooling systems ripped out 

and replaced with … tbd.

Eliminate air travel. 

GND calls for

“high speed rail".

Good luck Hawaii ! 

A government-guaranteed job

that includes

a “family-sustaining wage, 

family and medical leave, 

vacations, and a pension.” 

Free education for life. 

"Free" college 

or trade schools 

for every American.

A healthy diet

for every American.

A house or apartment. 

“Safe, affordable, 

adequate housing” 

for every 

American citizen. 

Free money. 

“Economic security” for all,

including those who are 

“unable, or unwilling,” to work. 

Ban meat. 

Ocasio-Cortez 

( "Occasionally Coherent" )

admits we can’t get 

to zero emissions

 in 10 years 

“because 

we aren’t sure 

that we’ll be able 

to fully get rid of 

farting cows and 

airplanes that fast.” 

The only way 

to get rid of 

farting cows, 

is to get rid of beef.

The GND is unbelievably bad,

unless you wanted to destroy 

capitalism.

I'm very annoyed 

the leftist-biased press 

takes it seriously.

If nothing is done, 

the average temperature 

of our planet may be

 +0.1 degrees C. warmer

in ten years.

That forecast 

extrapolates the 

past experience 

with global warming,

in the age of 

man made CO2,

from 1940 to 2019.

The average global 

surface  temperature

of our planet increased

about +0.6 degrees C.

in the past 78 years -- 

less than +0.1 degree C.

per decade.

And no one knows what 

percentage of that +0.6

was caused by CO2,

if any.

Anyone who claims

adding CO2

to the atmosphere

is an "existential threat", 

is a real science-denying

imbecile !

Our planet had global warming

since the late 1600s -- it's been

100% good news since then.

Based on real science,

I favor much more CO2

in the atmosphere to boost

the growth rate of green plants

... just like greenhouse owners

do with their CO2 enrichment

systems inside the greenhouses.

The demonization of CO2 is 

the biggest junk science fraud

in the history of science !

The unnecessary reaction 

to completely harmless

global warming ( beneficial,

based on real science )

is the actual threat.

The Green New Deal is

an existential threat to

the U.S. economy.
