A jolting job openings decline in December 2019

I used to track JOLTS
 job openings data here

for many years, 
they implied 
the economy 
was still growing.

Boring.

We now have 
something new
to talk about. 

The December 2019
JOLTS data, 
released yesterday, 
are very unusual 
for a healthy economy.
