What a difference a day makes with economic data !

Thursday:
Labor Department
announces
32 million Americans
are collecting
unemployment
compensation.
I have to assume
that means
32 million
unemployed,
which is about
20% unemployment.

Friday:
Bureau of Labor Statistics
announces
10% unemployment

So which one is correct ?

It's an election year, so I'll
let you guess which one
makes sense.  Hint: it's not
the second announcement !
