Rising year over year US Railroad intermodal unit volume is the best news since March

August 2020:
"U.S. railroads originated 1,122,954 containers and trailers (aka intermodal units) in August 2020, up +3 percent, or 33,115 units, from the same month last year".


Week ending September 19:
"U.S. weekly intermodal volume was 295,269 containers and trailers,
up +6.3 percent compared to 2019."


Week ending September 26:
"U.S. weekly intermodal volume was 294,144 containers and trailers,
up +5.5 percent compared to 2019."
