My one short term indicator, AAII Investor Sentiment has been very bullish for the past two weeks, based on data I've collected since 2005. These small investors have actually been bearish since early 2022, which was historically a buying signal. But not this year. Those AAII small investors got even more bearish last week and the week before. The bearish troughs in every year are usually very good buying points for traders. The troughs this year were unusually low. I doubt if small investors could get more bearish than in the past two weeks. The time for traders to buy is when investor confidence is low. It's been unusually low for the past two weeks, as you can see at the link below, and in the following chart. Short term sentiment indicators do not tell us if we are in a bull market or bear market. They are contrary opinion indicators very useful for stock traders, but not that useful for long-term investors.
