We normally shop at 6am Sunday morning when the store opens for business, at the huge Meijer's supermarket in Southfield, Michigan. Previous experiments with shopping on Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday mornings revealed no differences when compared with Sunday mornings.

Fully stocked with ham and turkey. One brand of salami, but not the better tasting Prime Fresh brand I wanted to buy, for the seventh week in a row. There are normally four brands of salami. Last week my preferred low cost brand of ham and salami ("Prime Fresh") had the price raised from $3.99 for 8 ounces to $4.99. But no Prime Fresh salami available even at $4.99.
ACE bread from Canada (product wanted not available)
No Harvest Grain flavor loaves available.
A 22% price increase two weeks ago, from $3.69 to $4.49.

The candy section was only 3/4 full -- very empty in the chocolate bar section The candy section was 3/4, 2/3, 2/3, 3.4, 7/8, 7/8, 2/3, 3/4. 7/8, 7/8, 3/4 and 1/2 full in prior weeks. Very few no sugar candies.
Candy impulse purchase shelves at the checkout line were 2/3 full compared with 3.4, 7/8, 1/2, 1/2, nearly full, 2/3, 7/8, 3/4, 2/3 and 2/3 full in prior weeks.
Dole Cole Slaw Mix:
Six 14 ounce bags were available
-- I bought all of them for use in the next two weeks.
Last week one 14 ounce bag of Dole was available
- I wanted four, so I counted that one bag as "not available"
Prior week no Dole or any other brand cole slaw mix.
Prior week 4 bags of Dole were available and I bought them.
I never know when this product will show up.
Pearson's brand is sometimes available, but is awful.
