Next newsletter coming soon after July 7 employment data release

July 11, 2017 will mark 40 years after I started work in Michigan, with an MBA from New York University.

I was introduced to a young woman who I would have to share a conference table with.

My first words were: "I just flew in from New York ... boy are my arms tired?"

She immediately assumed any man in a suit who would say that must be a jerk.

Of course she only told me that after we were married in 1983.

And we are still married.

To celebrate I decided the next newsletter must be about the most important and interesting subject for the readers (rather than any old economics subject I feel like studying, which would bore the wife, and she wouldn't bother reading it).

The next newsletter will feature:
"What Has Trump Done So Far?"

If you watch TV, even Fox News, you probably have not heard much, except that the ever-changing ObamaCare replacement bill is not much different than the original ObamaCare.

But that's legislation, and Trump doesn't control legislation.

Obama himself would have preferred single-payer medical insurance over what became known as ObamaCare ... after 17 months work polishing that mess before approval by Democrats only.
